Zhang earns seventh MVC Diver of the Week honor

CARBONDALE, Ill.- For the seventh time this season, Saluki diver Kaixuan ‘Sherry’ Zhang was named Missouri Valley Conference Diver of the Week. This is her 11th career honor from the MVC.

Zhang continued to do what she has done all season, sweeping the one and three-meter dive against a strong field. In the one-meter dive, Zhang tallied a final score of 354.60 to take the crown in the event. She followed that up by earning a point total of 407.65 in three-meter dive to earn the sweep.

The Salukis are in the middle of preparation for their home meet against the University of Evansville on Feb. 7. That meet is free and open to the public.
