Beibei Ji earns Diver of the Week for third time in 2017-18

For the third time this season, sophomore diver Beibei Ji has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Diver of the Week, this time for her achievements against Arkansas-Little Rock.

In the first meet of 2018, Ji clinched a first place finish as well as a new personal best score in the one-meter dive with a 300.67-point performance. She won the event by more than a point over her twin sister, Baobao Ji. She took second in the three-meter dive behind Baobao with a score of 288.74.

This is Beibei's third time earning the award this year and the fifth time a Saluki has been named the MVC's Diver of the Week. In total, the Salukis have earned eight MVC Swimmer or Diver of the Week awards this season.

Beibei Ji and the Salukis are back in action this weekend when the team travels to the Butler Invite in Indianapolis, Indiana.
