Compass Challenge Champs
• The Salukis defeated Eastern and Northern Illinois en route to being crowned the inaugural Compass Challenge champions.
• SIU shot a season-best 46.7% (14-of-30) from three-point range in the win over Northern- which were the most treys in a game in the Cindy Stein era and SIU's most since a January 5, 2013 win over Drake.

Taking care of the ball

• Patrick's 5.9 assists per game also leads the MVC and ranks 22nd nationally while she also leads the league in total assists (59).
• Patrick is the first Saluki since Cartaesha Macklin in 2013 to record at least five assists in four-straight games. If she records five or more helpers versus IUPUI, Patrick will equal Brook Lemar's five-straight games with five-plus assists from 2011.
• During her four-game streak, Patrick has 29 assists to just four turnovers. Patrick has recorded at least five assists in 7 of SIU's 10 games this season.
More on Patrick
• SIU has only once had a player lead the league in assists per game (Cartaesha Macklin, 2013) and Patrick's 3.47 assist-to-turnover ratio would be a school record.
• Southern has only once had a player finish a season with a 2.0 or higher assist-to-turnover ratio- Rishonda Napier set a program record with 145 assists to just 67 turnovers (2.16) during the 2017 season.
• In fact, only 13 players from the Valley have finished with a 2.0 or higher assist-to-turnover ratio since the 2002-03 season.
