The Salukis will compete against athletes from Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Dayton, Kent State, Miami (Ohio), Michigan State, Ohio State, Toledo, and Youngstown State, to name a few. The meet serves as a "last chance" for NCAA Division III athletes who are looking for a qualifying mark for their conference championships next week, while NCAA DII athletes have this coming weekend and next weekend to qualify for their respective conference championships. The 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor T&F Championships, hosted by Indiana State, begin May 11.
