Southern Illinois men's golf returns to action Monday at the Grover Page Classic, hosted by UT Martin. The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be played on a par-72, 6,816 yard course at Jackson County County Club, an annual host site for the US Open Qualifier. The course is known for fast greens, pure fairways, and challenging wind on every hole.
SIU will stick with the same lineup from the previous tournament: senior Matthis Besard, graduate Birgir Magnusson, sophomore Justin Wingerter, freshman Braden Hoisington, and senior Tom Cleaton.
The Salukis are set to tee off at 8:00am CT on Monday with a second round tee off later in the afternoon. The weather forecast calls for a 30 percent chance of morning showers, a high of 76 degrees, with a 7mph northwest wind. Live scoring will be available on GolfStat. The third and final round tees off with a shotgun start at 8:45am CT on Tuesday.
