The Southern Illinois women's golf team travels to Corpus Christi, Texas for the Islander Classic, hosted by Corpus Christi. The Salukis lineup will be Secilia Ho, Ella Overstreet, Kylee Vaughan, Ayanna Habeel, and Morgan Gindler.
The 15-team field will tee off at the Corpus Christi Country Club, a par 72 that plays 6,112 yards. The course opened in 1909 with President Taft hitting the first "official" golf ball.
SIU will tee off for the first day of 36-holes on Monday at 8:30 a.m. CT. The weather forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 81F with southern winds at 18 mph. The final round tees off at 8:30 a.m. CT on Tuesday. Live scoring is available on Golfstat.
