The Southern Illinois men's golf team is back on the course Sunday, February 26, 2023 for the Loyola Intercollegiate, hosted by Loyola University Maryland. The three-day, 54-hole tournament will be played at Palm Valley Golf Club's North & South Courses in Goodyear, Arizona.
The Salukis lineup will be sophomore Braden Hoisington, sophomore Carsen Silliman, senior Andrew Thornton, junior Hugo Archer, and graduate Markus Wilhelmsen. Graduate Tom Cleaton will be competing as an individual.
SIU will tee off with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m. CT on Sunday. Day one will consist of 18 holes of stroke play, with 18 holes on Monday, and the final round concluding on Tuesday. The weather forecast is partly cloudy with a high of 60F and southwest winds 5-10mph. Live scoring will be available on Golfstat.
