Southern Illinois women's golf returns to action this Sunday in Gulf Shores, Alabama for the start of the Bama Beach Classic, hosted by the University of South Alabama.

The Salukis lineup will be Ayanna Habeel, Kylee Vaughan, Ella Overstreet, Janie Samattiyadeekul, and Secilia Ho. Adriana Vinterova and Morgan Gindler will be competing as individuals.

The 15-team field will tee off at the Gulf Shores Country Club, a par 72 that plays 6,002 yards. The course was built in the 1960's and features scenic fairway views surrounded by oak and pine trees with occasional water hazards.

SIU will tee off for the first round of 18 holes on Sunday. The weather forecast calls mostly cloudy skies with a high of 51F and 11 mph winds from the north. Follow along with live scoring on Golfstat.
