Salukis Drop Series Finale With Panthers

Sidney Jones hit her third home run of the season after notching her first collegiate home run less than a month ago. Jones two-run blast would be the only runs for the Saluks on the day however as they totaled four hits and three walks leaving five runners on for the day.Â
The Panthers had another big day offensively as they totaled 17 hits as SIU totaled just one error on the day. UNI continues to lead the Valley with 54 home runs as a team, nearing the top-20 in the entire country.Â
Up next for the Salukis is an MVC series at home as they'll take on Bradley. SIU is still unbeaten at home with a 17-0 record but have played their previous six on the road.Â
