Women's Golf Set to Compete at Pinetree Women's Collegiate

KENNESAW, GA. - The Southern Illinois women's golf team heads to Georgia to compete at the Pinetree Women's Collegiate presented by Henssler, hosted by Kennesaw State. The tournament will take place Monday April 3 - Tuesday April 4.

The Salukis lineup will be Janie Samattiyadeekul, Kylee Vaughan, Ella Overstreet, Secilia Ho, and Morgan Gindler.

Participating Teams
Along with Southern Illinois and host Kennesaw State, Auburn, South Dakota, Stetson, Northern Illinois, Monmouth, Tennessee Tech, Delaware, Incarnate Word, Niagara, and High Point will be in action.

The Course
The 12 team field will tee off at the Pinetree Country Club, a par 72 that plays 7,108 yards. The course was opened in 1962 and was the host of the 2014 Georgia Open.

Tournament Information
Rounds one and two tee off on Monday starting at 8 AM. The weather forecast calls for an 80% chance of rain with a high of 63F and 11 MPH wind. The tournament concludes on Tuesday with rounds three and four starting at 9 AM. Tuesday's forecast calls for an 20% chance of rain with a high of 80F and 9 MPH winds.
