Rachel Anderson Finishes First at Belmont Opener

NASHVILLE, TN – Rachel Anderson highlights the opening meet placing first with a 5000m time of 17:39.6.
The women's team finished third and the men's team finished fourth at the Belmont Opener Friday morning.
"Today's meet showed the team is strong from their summer training" said head cross country coach Brian Biekert
"I'm especially happy with their poise and ability to stay together in the race. It was a good way to start the season. Regarding Rachel, she looked controlled. We're both encouraged but know there's still plenty of work left to do" said Biekert.
