Preview | Anderson to compete on day two of NCAA championships

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Rachel Anderson is set to compete at the 2024 NCAAÂ Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships Thursday, June 6 in Eugene, Oreg.
Anderson qualified after finishing eighth overall in the women's 3000-meter steeplechase during regional competition on May 25. Her time of 10:12.02 was eight seconds faster than the final qualifier.
Heading into the meet, Anderson owns the seventeenth fastest time in the country at 10:00.70, a time she achieved at the 2024 Bryan Clay Invitational.
She will compete against 24 runners from high major universities all over the country.
