News | Men picked fourth, Women seventh in the MVC Indoor Pre-Championship poll

CARBONDALE, Ill. – The Southern Illinois Track and Field men's team was picked to finish fourth and the women seventh in the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Track and Field Pre-Championship Poll.
The men's team received 67 points placing them fourth in The Valley behind Illinois State with 83 points, Northern Iowa with 93 points, and Indiana State in first with 94 points.
The women's team received 69 points placing them seventh in The Valley. Indiana State was picked as the favorite, receiving 140 points.
The MVC Indoor Championships will kick off on Sunday, March 2 at 9 a.m. at the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track and Field Center at Gately Park in Chicago.
