
News | Swimming and Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-American Honor

CARBONDALE, Ill. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has named Southern Illinois's swim and dive team, under the direction of Geoff Hanson, as a CSCAA Scholar All-American team. This title honors programs who acheive the highest standards in the classroom while also representing their instituition in the pool.
To earn this recognition, a team must have posted a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the Fall 2024 semester. Both SIU's men's and women's team smashed this mark, with the men's team accumulating a 3.44 GPA while the women's team hit 3.69.
