Preview | Women's Golf back to Florida for Coach Mo Classic

CARBONDALE, Ill. -Â Southern Illinois Women's Golf will make its second trip to the state of Florida to compete at the Coach Mo Classic in St. John's, Fla. The tournament takes place over two days, with teams playing 36Â holes Monday and 18 Tuesday.
SIU will be joined by Belmont, Charleston, Charlotte, Daytona State, Florida Gulf Coast, FIU, host Furman, Lipscomb, Minnesota, North Florida, Purdue, St. Thomas, Toledo, UTSA and Western Kentucky.
Teams will play the St. John's Golf & Country Club, a par-72 course.
The Salukis finished 12th at the Notre Dame Clover Cup, shooting their best round of 297 (+17) in round two.
Ella Overstreet, Pihla Pennanen, Allie Santos, Kayla Sayyalinh and Calli Smith will lead the Salukis. Sayyalinh led the team at the Clover Cup, placing 27th and shooting 70 and 71 in rounds two and three.
Monday's weather calls for a high of 85 degrees with partly cloudy weather and winds 10 to 15 miles per hour. Tuesday's forecast sees 82 degrees with partly cloudy skies and winds between five and 10 mph.
