Preview | Women's Golf travels to Maryland for final tuneup before MVC Championship

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois Women's Golf travels to College Park, Mary., for its final tournament before the Missouri Valley Conference Championship Sunday. The tournament takes place over two days, with golfers playing 36 holes Sunday and 18 Monday.
SIU will be joined by Delaware, Georgetown, Harvard, High Point, Howard, James Madison, host Maryland, Michigan, Navy, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Penn State, and Richmond.
The University of Maryland Golf Course is a par-72 with a 6,244 yardage total.
The Salukis finished 16th at the Coach Mo Classic last weekend. Pihla Pennanen and Kayla Sayyalinh led the way once again, each shooting all three rounds under 80.
Pennanen and Sayyalinh will be joined by Ella Overstreet, Allie Santos and Calli Smith.Â
Sunday's weather calls for a high of 69 degrees with cloudy skies and the potential for rain showers in the afternoon. Monday's forecast sees a drop to 49 degrees showers in the morning, then clouds in the afternoon.
