Mobile, Alabama — After earning their third top-three finish of the season at the Palmas De Mar Invitational on Tuesday, Saluki Golf is right back in action beginning February 16.
The annual Hal Williams Invitational, hosted by the University of South Alabama, is named after long-time South Alabama administrator Hal Williams. The 54-hole tournament features top collegiate programs from major conferences across the country. In 2025, participating conferences included the Big Ten, AAC, Atlantic 10, Big 12, MAC, Conference USA, Summit League, Big East, and Sun Belt.
Tournament play runs Monday, February 16 through Tuesday, February 17 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is open to the public, and admission is free.
What to Watch for the Salukis
Jaeseung Na is coming off one of his strongest performances of the season, finishing third in Puerto Rico and earning Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week honors. It marked his second top-three finish of the year.
Anthony De Schutter will look to bounce back into the top 10 after finishing just outside that group at the Palmas De Mar Invitational.
Ben Keil and Blake Safell were both impressive last week, placing 12th and 19th overall, respectively, and will aim to build on that momentum.
The Salukis enter the spring as the favorites to win the Missouri Valley Conference. However, there is still plenty of golf ahead before the MVC Championships in April.
