2016-17 (Senior): Swam in seven events in 2016-17... Won the MAC title in the 200-yard butterfly... Finished 2nd at the MAC Championships in the 400-yard IM and third in the 200-Yard IM... Finished first in four races through the season... Finished top-10 in 17 races... Broke his own program record in the 200-yard IM with a time of 1:47.05... Posted the second fastest time in the 200-yard butterfly in program history at 1:45.55 Was the fastest Saluki in the 200-yard IM and the 200-yard butterfly... Prior to SIU: Filippo swam competitively as a member of the Gestisport club in Milan, Italy for multiple years...he was a top ten finisher at nationals...finals winner at the Settecolli meet in Rome in the 400-yard IM and the 200-yard butterfly.
