Placed seventh in the shot put with a mark of 16.28m (53'-5") at the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships (2/26-2/28) ... won his first event as a Saluki after notching a PR of 16.87m (55'-4.25") in the shot put at the Indiana State Invitational (2/13) ... finished second in the shot put at the season-opening Don DeNoon Dual (2/5-2/6).

Placed second in the shot put (16.20 meters) and eighth in the weight throw (16.30 meters) in the Eastern Michigan Can Am International (1/25) … placed second in the shot put (15.35 meters) and sixth in the weight throw (15.94 meters) in a dual meet at Akron (1/17) … finished sixth in the shot put (14.82 meters) in the GVSU Holiday Open (12/6) … earned Academic All-MAC honors.
