Outdoor: Finished 15th in the hammer throw at the 2017 USATF Outdoor Championships (6/25)…Threw 211'-10" (64.56m) on her third attempt to take home an All-American seventh place finish in the women's hammer throw at the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Championships (6/8)…Became SIU’s 13th All-American all-time in the women's hammer throw, which ties Southern Illinois with Southern California for the most all-time in the event…Took third at the NCAA West Prelims (5/27) with the fifth-longest toss in school history at 218’-8” (66.66m)…Won her first MVC hammer throw title with a then-season-best toss of 211’-10” (64.56m)…Became just the fourth Saluki to win MVC titles in both the hammer throw and the weight throw in the same season, joining Brittany Riley, Jeneva McCall and DeAnna Price as the only Salukis to have done so…Earned a share of the MVC’s Most Outstanding Female Field Athlete award at the 2017 MVC Outdoor Championships (5/14)…Opened the season with a win at the Bill Cornell Spring Classic (3/25)…Including her win at the MVC Championships, won the hammer throw at four meets including the Kansas Relays (4/22) and the Lenny Lyles Invitational (4/29)…Competed at nine outdoor meets.
