Women's Tennis Loses To Southwest Missouri State

Carbondale, Ill. - SIU's women's tennis team lost on their home court today 7-0 to Missouri Valley Conference foe Southwest Missouri State. Coming into the match, the Bears had a slight lead over the Salukis in conference play with a 4-1 record and improved to 5-1 as SIU fell to 3-2 in MVC action.
Sisters Alejandra and Maria Blanco defeated Ia Zozrashuili and Cassandra Godfrey in number one doubles.
The Salukis, 6-12 overall, will host Wichita State tomorrow at 10 a.m.
