Women's Tennis Plays Conference Matches On The Road

Carbondale, Ill. - Southern Illinois University's women's tennis team will travel to Nebraska and Iowa for Missouri Valley Conference matches this weekend. SIU, currently on a two-match winning streak, is tied for second in the MVC with a 1-0 conference record.

The Salukis will take on Creighton University Friday at 2 p.m., Drake University Saturday at noon, and the University of Northern Iowa Sunday at 10 a.m.

SIU has a 4-10 overall record coming into this weekend. Creighton posts a 2-11 and are 1-2 in MVC action. Drake holds a 2-9 overall mark and 2-1 in the Valley, while UNI is 1-3, 0-2 in MVC play.
