Women's Tennis Have Rough Start to Season

LOUISVILLE, KY- - The women's tennis team struggled to get anything going in their season openen as they lost 6-1 to Louisville Friday.
Senior Alejandra Blanco was able to give the Dawgs their only win of the day as she defeated Leslie Stewart at the No. 1 singles spot. Both seniors Jessica Knitter and Tana Trapani lost hard fought match-ups with Knitter losing 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 at the No. 2 spot and Trapani 6-4, 4-6, 10-3 at the No. 3 spot.
The Dawgs will lick their wounds and head to Cincinnati tomorrow in hopes of finding success in Ohio.
