Women's Tennis Loses to Auburn 6-0

CHICAGO, Ill. - The Southern Illinois women's tennis team was shut out by Auburn Saturday 6-0 at the Lakeshore Athletic Club. The loss drops the Salukis record to 2-2.
The Salukis found it difficult to score against the Tigers, the most points earned by a SIU player was three. Laura Bredniak lost in the No. 5 singles spot (6-1, 6-3), and Amanda Taillefer and Zoya Honarmand lost in No. 2 doubles match 8-3.
A water leak on the court prevented the No. 6 singles match from being played.
The next match for the Salukis is March 14 at Charleston Southern.
