Dayton, Ohio - The SIU women's tennis team collected a 6-1 victory over Dayton on Friday night.
The Salukis jumped out to an early lead as they swept all three doubles matches and then claimed victories in five singles matches.
Fadzai Mawisire improved her SIU record to 8-0 with win over Dayton's Loni Dickerhoof, 6-4,6-3 and a win in No. 1 doubles with partner Ame Blacketer over Nikki Dzubay/Kelly O'Connell, 8-2.
The Salukis will return to action today as they travel to face the University of Cincinnati at 3 p.m.
