Cape Girardeau, Mo.- The Southern Illinois women's tennis team picked up another victory as they defeated Southeast Missouri State 7-0 Monday afternoon.
The Salukis won all eight matches as they cruised to victory with Fadzai Mawisire improving her No. 1 singles record to 11-0.
Head coach Audra Nothwehr said that due to some SEMO injuries, the Redhawks didn't have a full squad which helped the Salukis to a victory.
"We still went out and got the job done and played very well today," Nothwehr said.
The Salukis will return to action on Wednesday when they open Missouri Valley Conference play against Evansville beginning at 2 p.m.
