Women’s Golf Finish 17th at Bama Beach Bash

The Southern Illinois women's golf team finished in 17th place at the Bama Beach Bash, which finished Monday with 36-holes at Gulf Shores Country Club in Gulf Shores, Alabama. SIU finished with a total score of 928 (+104).
Sophomore Janie Samattiyadeekul tied for 54th with a score of 238 (+22). Junior Ayanna Habeel shot 244 over the two days to finish at 28-over-par, tied for 74th. Graduate Moyea Russell and freshman Kylee Vaughan both tied for 77th with a total of 245 (+29). Graduate Rosemarie Bundy took 91st place, with a score of 252 (+37). Junior Secilia Ho competed as an individual, finishing tied for 83rd with a score of 247 (+31).

The Salukis return home to prepare for the second annual Diane Daugherty Invite, hosted by Southern Illinois University, on March 28-29, 2022 at Bogey Hills Country Club in St. Charles, Missouri.
