
Men's Golf Ready to Compete at Hoosier Collegiate

BLOOMINGTON, IN. - The Southern Illinois men's golf team heads to Bloomington to compete at the Hoosier Collegiate hosted by Indiana University. The tournament will take place over the course of two days, Saturday April 8 and Sunday April 9.Â
The Salukis lineup will feature Carsen Silliman, Braden Hoisington, Justin Wingerter, Hugo Archer, and Tom Cleaton.Â
Participating Teams
Along with Southern Illinois and host Indiana, Butler, Central Arkansas, Central Michigan, Chattanooga, Dayton, DePaul, Eastern Michigan, Illinois State, IUPUI, Murray State, US Naval Academy, and Valparaiso will be in action.
Course Information
The 14 team field will tee off at the Pfau Course at Indiana University, a par 71 that plays 7,265 yards. The course was opened in 2020 and was built on the same 265-acre east side Bloomington property previously occupied by the IU Championship Golf Course, the original Par-3 course, and the IU Cross Country Course since the 1950s.Â
Tournament Information
Day one tees off at 8 AM on Saturday April 8, the participants will play 36 continuous holes. The tournament will conclude on Sunday April 9 with round three and will tee off at 7:30 AM. The tournament award ceremony will take place on Sunday at 2:30 PM at the Pfau Course Pavilion.Â
