Ava Rines heads to Carbondale a recent Florida High School Athletic Association 1A State Championship 4-time Finalist, 2-time Top Eight Finisher in 50 free and 100 breast, she also holds the record for her high school in those events. Other accomplishments include Rowdy Gaines Masters Classic Open Water 1.5K Age Group Silver Medalist.Â

Rines plans on majoring in Journalism. Ava's parents are Lisa Scarborough and Lee Rines.
