Swam in six events… had three NICB Cuts and three personal records at the A3 Performance Invitational… 200-yard butterfly (1:48.09), 200-yard IM (1:48.94), and 400-yard IM (3:53.54)... also set personal records in the 50-yard breaststroke (29.15), 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.69) and 100-yard butterfly (52.43) against Southern Indiana.

2021-2022 (FRESHMAN)

Swam in seven events... holds top SIU times in 200-fly, 200- and 400-IM... placed seventh in 400-IM at 2022 MAC's... placed fourth in "B" final of 200-IM... earned second in "B" final of 200-fly at MAC's... earned second-place remarks in 200- and 400-IM and 200-fly at A3 Invitational... 15 top-eight marks.

PRIOR TO SIU

Hailing from Cairo, Egypt, Selim Hassan joins the Salukis with a career that is already highly decorated. Hassan is a 44-time Cairo provincial medalist, and 32-time national medalist, and a 2-time junior Arab champion. He holds personal bests in 200 -IM LCM (2:10), 400-IM LCM (4:37), 200-Fly LCM (2:08), and 200-Breast LCM (2:28).
