SO FAR IN 2017
The Salukis are off to a rocky start in 2017, losing both of their matchups. They started their season against SEC opponent Arkansas. SIU was able to pick up a huge singles win from Xiwei Cai, but it wouldn't be enough to get past the Razorbacks, as they fell, 6-1. SIU grabbed two points in singles play, one apiece from Cai and Vitoria Beirao, but it wouldn't be enough to take down EIU. The Salukis lost to the Panthers, 5-2.
SCOUTING UCA
