Southern Illinois men to host Tri-Meet against Evansville and Missouri State

CARBONDALE, Ill. — The Southern Illinois men's swimming and diving program is set to host a two-day tri–meet versus Missouri State and Evansville Oct. 21-22 inside Shea Natatorium. Results can be tracked online on the Meet Mobile app and a live stream will be available on the Saluki Swimming and Diving Facebook page.

THOUGHTS FROM COACH HANSON

"Missouri State is a fierce rival; we've gone back and forth in meets with the past few years. It's always nice to host those meets at home and have our women be there as a support for the men. Evansville has some great swimmers and their roster has gotten better and better over the last few years. We're looking forward to great competition and being at home for the first time this year."

LOOKING AT THE COMPETITION

Missouri State comes into the MVC Invite with a 1-1 record with a victory over Lindenwood and a loss to Drury.

Evansville enters the tournament with a 1-0 record, with a victory over Valparaiso.
