CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois University women's basketball team (8-19, 3-14 MVC) will play host to Bradley on Saturday at 2 p.m. for 'Senior Day' and the 'Greek Game.'

GAME PROMOTION
- Prior to tip-off, Quierra Love, Sydney Prochaska, and Adrianna Katcher, along with the team's graduating graduate assistants and managers, will all be honored in a pregame ceremony.
- Southern's game against Bradley will also be the 'Greek Game' at the Banterra Center. SIU's Greek organizations are encouraged to come out and support the Salukis on Saturday.Â
- One hour before the game, a bounce house will be set-up at the Charles Helleny Pavilion.Â
- To watch SIU face Bradley, tune in to ESPN+ at 2 p.m. Dominic Hoscher (play-by-play), Mike Trude (analyst), and Taylor Lawrence (sideline) will have the call.
- Larry Larson will have the radio call on NewsRadio WJPF 107.9 FM.
QUICK HITS
- Southern Illinois will honor its three seniors, Quierra Love, Sydney Prochaska, and Adrianna Katcher, on Saturday at home against Bradley. All three players were members of the 2021-22 SIU team that won the Missouri Valley Conference regular season title.Â
- In an overtime heartbreaker, SIU fell in its last game, 75-66, to Illinois State on Thursday night. Jaidynn Mason had a chance to win the game at the end of regulation, but the shot rimmed out and the Salukis were defeated in the extra five minutes.Â
- Mason's 19 points were a team-high, while freshman Maddy Saracco posted a career-high 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting from deep.Â
- SIU is in 10th place heading into the final three games of the regular season. Southern is one game back of Valparaiso in ninth.Â
- Southern Illinois is eighth in scoring offense (66.0) and sixth in scoring defense (69.9).
- The Salukis lead the Valley and are 31st in the NCAA in turnovers forced-per-game (19.89).Â
- No team in the conference has allowed fewer three-pointers than SIU at 126. Missouri State is second with 136. Southern is also fourth in the Valley in opponent three-point percentage (.301).
- The Salukis are first in the MVC and 46th in the country in turnover margin (3.59).Â
- Southern Illinois leads the Valley and is 13th in the NCAA in steals-per-game (11.3). The Salukis have posted 10 or more steals in 17 games and have three players top five in the league in steals-per-game.Â
LEADING THE SALUKIS
- Laniah Randle is the only player in the MVC to be top three in both scoring (third, 18.2) and rebounding (tied for second, 8.6). Randle is also tied for 12th in total blocks (19) and is fourth in total steals (58). The junior has had 20 or more points in 13 games this season, and three games with over 30, which leads the Valley.Â
- Randle is 49th in the NCAA in scoring, tied for 72nd in rebounding, and tied for 28th in offensive rebounds-per-game (3.7). The junior forward has nine double-doubles on the season.
- In all of 2022-23, SIU had six total double-doubles. The Salukis have 12 as a team this season. Randle has provided nine of them, while Seairra Hughes has the other three.Â
- Jaidynn Mason is second on the team and ninth in the MVC in scoring, averaging 14.4 points to go along with 3.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.7 steals-per-game, with the steals average leading the conference. Mason posted her 14th game with 10+ points on Thursday and has three games with over 20 points on the year.Â
- Quierra Love is fourth in the MVC and tied for 75th in the NCAA in steals-per-game (2.2). Love has posted two or more steals in 14 games, and has at least four steals in seven games.
- Love is now sixth in career steals (193) at SIU, passing Petra Jackson, who had 189 steals from 1983 to 1986. Love is tied for fourth in the Valley in assists-per-game (4.0), and is tied for ninth in assist/turnover ratio (1.6).Â
- Maddy Saracco had the best game of her young Saluki career on Thursday, scoring 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting from beyond-the-arc. The four three pointers are the most an SIU freshman has had in a game since Makenzie Silvey had five at Missouri State on Feb. 23, 2018.Â
LOOKING AT BRADLEY
- Bradley enters Saturday's game with an overall record of 6-22 and MVC record of 2-15. The Braves have lost seven-straight games and are looking for their first win since defeating Evansville, 79-72, on the road on Feb. 3.Â
- In its last game, Bradley was defeated by Missouri State, 70-44, in Springfield, Mo., on Thursday.Â
- Isis Fitch and Nika Dorsey led the Braves in scoring, as the pair both tallied 10 points in the loss.Â
- Halli Poock is Bradley's top scorer, averaging 13.8 points-per-game, which is 11th in the MVC.Â
- Kate Popovec-Goss is in her second season as the Braves' head coach and holds a record of 6-44 during her time in Peoria.Â
SERIES HISTORY
- SIU is 56-30 all-time vs. Bradley. In its last meeting on Jan. 13, the Braves snapped a four-game losing streak against the Salukis, winning by a final score of 58-56 in Peoria.Â
- Randle paced the Dawgs with 25 points, while Dorsey and Alex Rouse both had 11 for Bradley.Â
